Recur in Louisiana
WASHINGTON. June 13. The River Mississippi, has overflowed its banks once more, and the position of the residents along the Louisiana bottoms has become serious.
Every protecting levee from West Bayou, one of the channels of the Lower Mississippi, to Labadieville, a distance of about 90 miles, been broken, and almost every estate in the vicinity has been covered with water, and thousands of people have been rendered homeless.
